If you were to really, like, feel into your gut, are you where you wanna be? No. Yeah. What do you want more of? I don't know. Like, some fucking, like how about some money for a start? Right? Yeah. Like, I hear you want stability when you say you want money. Is that accurate? Yeah. Yeah. Sure. Like stability in work? Stability in terms of having, like, a place to live? Like, what are you envisioning? If you could see a life that you'd want to wake up for every morning? Just a fun life. Right? Like, I mean, I don't know. Like, maybe, like, like, a girlfriend or, yeah, just, like, like, some money would be fun. Right? Like, just maybe you hold on, like like, at a good job. Okay. Wait. Wait. Let's slow down for a moment. What? Because I wanna get super specific with you on this. Because here's the thing. DBT is a life worth living protocol, and what you're starting to describe are what we call life worth living goals. So being able to have enough money to have, like, a stable living situation. Did I get that right? Sure. Okay. You mentioned having a girlfriend. So it sounds like being in a stable relationship is also really meaningful for you. Yeah. Who right. Who wouldn't want that? I mean, I love living with my wife. I love the life that we have. It's super fucking awesome to be able to wake up every morning and know, like, oh, this is something I can depend on. She actually made my lunch today. Nice. Yeah. What else do you envision? Like, when you say that you want a job, like, what kind of work do you wanna do? What would you wake up for every morning? Me? I mean, I'm getting pretty good at putting together some, like, different recipes that I've been working on lately. And so if I was able to, like, showcase those, maybe, like, get a crowd, people would see that, and then I could make money. Right? Yeah. It sounds like you love cooking. Like, do you wanna be a chef? Wouldn't be bad. Yeah. Could you see yourself, like, cooking for a set number of people, showcasing these recipes in a space where, like, people have to make advance reservations? Maybe they're paying, like, a hundred and fifty bucks for, like, an eight course meal. I should have that right now, to be honest. I'd love for you to have it right now. Yeah. And it sounds fair. Don't understand, like, how good my food actually is? Yeah. Well, I imagine that there are a number of different things that are getting in the way, And that's what I'm here for. Alright. Right? Like, this is what DBT would be about is that you would learn skills to make sure that things don't get in the way. Like, what do you think is getting in the way of you having that right now? I don't know. Life. Okay. When you say life, break it down for me. I don't I don't know what you wanna fucking hear. Like, life just gets in the way. Right? Okay. So one of the things that you had shared was that, like, sometimes when things get super duper intense, like, you drink a lot, and then sometimes you get suicidal. Is that accurate? May I mean, maybe. It's it might have happened before. Okay. Let me just say it's really hard to open a restaurant if you're dead. Yeah. Yeah. No shit. I know. I know that you know that. I'm just stating the obvious. However, like, this is part of why I wanna work with you so that you don't have, like, these suicide attempts to cope with your pain. Because not knowing how to manage your pain is actually one of the things that's getting in the way of you having this restaurant. You not knowing how to cope with your pain is getting in the way of you having, like, this meaningful long term stable relationship that you're craving.
