Dr Natalia Garcia is a licensed clinical psychologist in Washington State with a clinical faculty appointment at the University of Washington. She is an alumnus and current DBT supervisor in the Marsha M. Linehan DBT Training Clinic, and has worked as an expert trainer and national consultant for the VA National Suicide Prevention 2.0 Initiative. Her research has primarily focused on PTSD, trauma recovery, and culturally-responsive mental health care. She has expertise working with trauma survivors who have experienced sexual assault, traumatic loss, and/or race-based traumatic invalidation.
