Dr Damara Gutnick is a Motivational Interviewing trainer and senior director at the Montefiore Office of Community and Population Health. She is an associate professor of Family and Social Medicine, Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and Epidemiology and Population Health at The Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr Gutnick is an advocate for patient-centered health systems, patient empowerment and the dissemination of MI principles in chronic disease care. She provides cutting-edge training at the American College of Physicians via her annual workshop, MI for the Busy Physician.
