Dr. Samantha Hellberg is a licensed clinical psychologist and the Associate Director of the Marsha M. Linehan DBT Clinic at the University of Washington. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at UNC Chapel Hill, where she developed expertise in reproductive mental health, anxiety, and trauma/PTSD.  She began her DBT training in a Comprehensive DBT program for perinatal individuals at UNC, and completed her internship and advanced fellowship in DBT with Dr. Melanie Harned at the VA Puget Sound in Seattle.

While at the VA, she served as a study therapist and adherence coder on Dr. Harned’s multisite clinical trial on DBT and DBT PE for PTSD, and contributed to clinician education, research, program development, and clinical services. She is passionate about expanding access to high-quality, evidence-based, and compassionate care, and provides training, supervision, and consultation with a focus on DBT, DBT PE, trauma/PTSD, emotional disorders, and reproductive mental health.
