His expertise encompasses cognitive models of depression, the prevention of depression, and definitive trials of CBT for acute depression. Dr Dobson has published over 310 articles, 80 book chapters and 17 books. He is president of the World Confederation of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies and former president of the Canadian Psychological Association and the Academy of Cognitive Therapy.
