Can I become DBT certified after completing DBT Intensive Plus?

Completing DBT Intensive Plus is an important step toward DBT certification and provides training that aligns closely with the Linehan model of DBT. The program is taught by leading DBT experts, including key members of the Linehan Board of Certification, helping ensure fidelity to the treatment approach developed by Marsha Linehan.

However, completing DBT Intensive Plus does not automatically grant DBT certification. Certification is a separate, optional credential awarded by the DBT Linehan Board of Certification and requires applicants to meet additional eligibility requirements beyond course completion.
