How Our EFT Courses Work

How do your courses with expert support work?

These courses run on intakes and have scheduled start dates throughout the year.

The first week of course material is released at midnight PST on course start date. You'll receive a welcome email with information on how to log in and get started.

Each subsequent week, new content is released, which includes:

  • Beautifully produced video lessons that are a pleasure to watch

  • Therapy demonstrations that show the approach in action, so you learn by example as well as theory

  • Step-by-step clinical guidance that builds confidence without overwhelming you

  • Downloadable tools you can use immediately in session from the course library.

You'll also have expert support through an exclusive forum.  You'll be able to ask questions and share experiences with world-leading experts and founders, including William Miller, Russ Harris and Leanne Campbell.

You can log into your Psychwire account from anywhere, at any time, allowing you to learn at your own pace. There's no need to be online at a specific time.

You'll have access to this content for 12 months. You can use this time to catch up on the course or dig deeper into some of the topics covered. The course card in My Dashboard will let you know how much course access you still have available.

What happens if I miss a week or fall behind?

All our courses are self-paced. If you miss a week, or fall behind, don't worry. You can catch up at a time that suits you!

Each course has 12 months access, and this bonus time can be used to catch up on any missed work. You can find out when your course access finishes by looking in "My Dashboard."

If you are experiencing extenuating circumstances, you may be eligible for a deferral. Please contact us via the chat icon on the bottom right-hand corner of the website or via email at support@psychwire.com.

How much time should I be spending on the course?

We recommend setting aside 2-3 hours per week to stay up to date with the weekly released work. However, if you fall behind or miss a week, don't worry. You will have access to the course for 12 months, which provides plenty of time to catch up on any missed work, and dive into bonus material.

Do I have to complete a week in a single sitting or can I take my time?

You DO NOT have to complete a week at a single sitting. You can take your time within each week but please don't fall too far behind because we cannot provide extensions.

Who are the EFT courses suitable for?

These courses are designed for mental health professionals interested in developing skills in attachment-based and experiential therapy. They are suitable for psychologists, psychotherapists, counsellors, social workers, psychiatrists, and other clinicians working with individuals, couples, or families.

The courses may also be valuable for therapists from other modalities who want to strengthen their ability to work with emotion, attachment patterns, and relational dynamics in session.

When will I receive my free ebook?

Your free ebook/s will be available in your course library as a downloadable PDF on the course start date.

How does the forum work?

The forum is designed to provide you with expert support as you learn. You can ask questions about the course material and share experiences as you develop new skills. Both the trainers and your fellow course participants can reply, providing a rich community of learners.

The trainers will be online during the week to answer questions, but please allow a few days for replies. Just note that trainers are active in the forum during the course, but not during the extra access period at the end of your course. We will notify you via email when the forum is closing.

Can I defer the course?

Before your course begins:

We're happy to help if you can't attend the current intake. Please contact our customer service once your enrollment is finalized, and we can enroll you in the intake of your choice.

During your course:

If you find yourself falling behind and don't think you'll be able to finish your course, please fill in the form here and we can discuss your options.

You can also contact us by the chat icon at the bottom of your screen, or by emailing us  support@psychwire.com.

What equipment do I need to complete a course?

  • A computer

  • Internet connection - we recommend updating so you have the latest version of your internet browser.

  • Headphones or speaker to listen to course content.

Optional:

  • Specialised PDF viewer such as Adobe.

  • Printer to print any library documents.
