Dr Suniya Luthar is co-founder and CRO of Authentic Connections, an organization providing school- and community-based programs to foster resilience in high-stress environments. A world-leading authority on vulnerability and resilience in young people, she works with teens at risk including those in high-achieving schools, youth in poverty and children in families affected by mental illness. Dr Luther is also professor emerita at Columbia University’s Teachers College. She has published several scientific papers and books on children’s adaptation in the context of adversities.
