Professor Eva Gilboa-Schechtman is a psychology professor and head of the Multidisciplinary Brain Research Center at Bar-Ilan University. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder and anxiety disorders, with research on the pain of social rejection and losing social standing. An accomplished writer, Professor Gilboa-Schechtman has authored over 140 articles, several book chapters and two leading resources for clinicians including Prolonged Exposure Therapy for Adolescents with PTSD: Therapist Guide.
