Professor Vincent Waldron is a highly regarded expert in the field of communication, relationships and behavior. His particular research interests include forgiveness in personal relationships, resilience in relationships and communities, relationship change across the lifespan, and more.

A respected academic and an innovative researcher, Professor Waldron is Professor of Communication Studies and Lincoln Professor of Applied Ethics at Arizona State University.

In co-authorship with frequent collaborator Professor Doug Kelley, Professor Waldron wrote the books Communicating Forgiveness, Marriage at Midlife, and A Communicative Approach to Conflict, Forgiveness, and Reconciliation: Reimagining Our Relationships.

Professor Waldron’s research has been published in several prestigious academic journals, such as Journal of Social and Personal Relationships, Journal of Family Communication and Journal of Applied Communication Research. He has also served on the editorial board of several journals.

He has received many awards for his pioneering work, including most recently the Robert J. Kibler Award.
