Dr Carlos Grilo is a clinical psychologist with an international reputation in eating/weight disorders. He is a professor of psychiatry and director of the Program for Obesity, Weight and Eating Research (POWER) at the Yale University School of Medicine. Dr Grilo’s research encompasses disordered eating, obesity, psychopathology, personality disorders, addictions and the sociocultural contexts of functioning. He has over 500 peer-reviewed scientific journal articles, 25 book chapters and two academic books, Eating and Weight Disorders and The Treatment of Eating Disorders.
