Dr Nancy Heath is an internationally recognized expert in the field of self-injury working in educational settings to help young people who are struggling. She is a James McGill professor in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology at McGill University and team director of Development and Intrapersonal Resilience Research. She is also co-director of Self-injury Outreach and Support and a founding member and past-president of the International Society for the Study of Self-injury.
