Dr Emily Sandoz is the Emma Louise LeBlanc Burguieres/BORSF endowed professor of social sciences in the Department of Psychology at the University of Louisiana. Her research focuses on behavior analysis and psychological flexibility as a model for health and wellbeing. Dr Sandoz uses a contextual behavioral science approach in her lab and clinical practice for the treatment of eating and body image disorders, related pain and trauma. She is an expert practitioner and peer-reviewed trainer in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for body-related issues.
