Dr Robin Stern is an acclaimed psychoanalyst with 30 years' experience working with individuals, couples and families. Dr Stern is the author of the critically acclaimed book, The Gaslight Effect, as well as Project Rebirth.

She is the co-founder and Associate Director at the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence and an Associate Research Scientist at the Child Study Center at Yale.

Dr Stern is also a co-developer of RULER, the evidence-based approach to social and emotional learning that focuses on the five key emotional skills of recognizing, understanding, labeling, expressing, and regulating emotions. RULER has been adopted by thousands of schools across the United States and beyond.

Dr Stern has worked as a consultant with large corporations such as Google and Facebook, helping with social resolution and bullying prevention. Her work has been featured in many mainstream media outlets, such as Time, The Washington Post, The Today Show and Harvard Business Review.

A strong advocate of women in leadership, Dr Stern has also been heavily involved with a number of programs and organizations that support women leaders and aspiring leaders, such as Star Factor Coaching and Woodhull Institute for Ethical Leadership. She is also Goodwill Ambassador for United Nations Women for Peace Association.
