Dr Charles Zeanah is the Mary Peters Sellars-Polchow chair of psychiatry at the Tulane University School of Medicine. An expert in developmental psychopathology, Dr Zeanah is widely recognized for his prolific research into child and adolescent development. His main research interest lies in infant mental health and early adverse experiences. As well as investigating approaches to early childhood disorders including attachment disorders, he studies the impact of abuse and neglect on young children and evidence-based treatments for recovery.
