Few psychologists have made as important a contribution to their field as Professor Hans-Werner Gessmann. The founder of humanistic psychodrama, an established therapy model, Professor Gessmann is also known for his research into the causation factors of dyslexia, child psychotherapy, sexual dysfunction and sleep.
In 1973, Professor Gessmann founded the immensely successful Psychotherapeutic Institute Bergerhausen (PIB) in Germany, which has trained more than 1500 psychotherapists. He has held numerous prestigious academic positions throughout his career and is currently appointed as Visiting Professor of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy at the Krasnoyarsk State Medical University, Russia.
Professor Gessmann is a widely published author, having written more than 180 articles for scientific journals. He has been involved with several film productions across his career. Professor Gessmann has won a number of awards for his work and frequently appears on lists of the most influential or important living psychologists for his ongoing groundbreaking work.
