Dr Asim Shah is a true giant of psychiatry, having made many vital contributions to the field across a rich and varied career. His current focus of study and research is treatment-resistant depression and ketamine. He is also an expert on contemporary and topical areas of psychiatry and psychology such as election stress, mass shootings, work-related stress, road rage, Seasonal Affective Disorder and much more. Dr Shah is a professor at the Menninger Department of Psychiatry, Baylor College of Medicine.
