Elizabeth Cohn Stuntz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 40 years of experience in clinical psychotherapy. She is the co-author of Coping with Cancer: DBT Skills to Manage Your Emotions - and Balance Uncertainty with Hope with Marsha Linehan. Mental health professionals worldwide applaud her book for its compassionate presentation of ways to manage cancer-related anxiety.

Stuntz is a dedicated student of Zen, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and the neuroscience of psychotherapy. She integrates her extensive knowledge of diverse psychoanalytic treatment strategies into her private practice, helping people cope with adverse life events like living with cancer.

Stuntz, a cancer survivor, is also a founding board member of Gilda’s Club Westchester, an organization committed to empowering people impacted by cancer. She is a faculty member and supervisor at the Westchester Center for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy. She has worked as a psychotherapist and taught throughout the United States.
