Dr Russell Foster is a British professor of circadian neuroscience and director of the Nuffield Laboratory of Ophthalmology at the University of Oxford. As the head of the Sleep and Circadian Neuroscience Institute (SCNi), Dr Foster and his team have made groundbreaking discoveries in identifying non-rod, non-cone ocular receptors. He has written and co-authored over a hundred scientific publications on photoreceptor biology, as well as the renowned science book, Life Time.
