Dr Jessica Schleider is the founding director of the Lab for Scalable Mental Health and an associate professor of medical social sciences, pediatrics and psychology at Northwestern University. Her research team specializes in brief, barrier-free interventions to reduce mental health problems at scale. Dr Schleider has published over 110 peer-reviewed articles and developed seven open-access, single-session interventions (SSI), which have reached over 50,000 people. Her latest book, Little Treatments, Big Effects, shows how SSIs could transform the mental healthcare system into one that’s accessible to all.
