Dr Carla Sharp is the director of the Developmental Psychopathology Lab at the University of Houston. She is also a professor in the clinical psychology doctoral program, associate dean for faculty and research, and director of the Adolescent Diagnosis Assessment Prevention and Treatment Center. An expert in youth psychiatric disorders, Dr Sharp specializes in attachment and social-cognitive and personality development. She also has a special interest in helping children in low-resource settings. Widely published and revered in her field, Dr Sharp has written and edited numerous books and over 320 articles.
