Professor Clive Robins is professor emeritus at Duke University in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. He is a certified clinician by the DBT-Linehan Board of Certification and a founding fellow of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy.

Professor Robins completed the very first intensive training in DBT offered by Dr Marsha Linehan and subsequently established a DBT program at Duke University Medical Center. He was a co-investigator on the first randomized controlled trial of DBT to occur outside of Dr Linehan’s laboratory.

The recipient of research grant funding from bodies including the National Institute of Mental Health, Professor Robins has published nearly 100 scientific articles and book chapters on the subjects of depression, borderline personality disorder, DBT, and mindfulness.

A highly sought-after speaker for hospital education sessions known as Grand Rounds, Professor Robins has also conducted nearly 100 DBT workshops and training courses.
