Dr Jenny Brown is a leading Psychotherapist, Author and Founder of The Family Systems Institute. She has worked in child and family mental health for over 30 years and is now a Trainer at the Parent Project.

Dr Brown specialises in applying Murray Bowen’s family systems theory to assist clients with general aspects of life and their relationships. She has published several articles and book chapters on family systems with a research focus on parents and adolescent mental health.

In 2012, Dr Brown wrote the bestselling book, Growing Yourself Up: How to bring your best to all of life’s relationships. She is committed to helping equip people with skills to have better relationships and is a supervisor for the Australian Association of Family Therapy.

Her recent work at the Parent Project is aimed at developing parenting programs to improve family relationships.
