Keith A. Kaufman, Ph.D., CMPC, is co-developer of Mindful Sport Performance Enhancement (MSPE®), Chief Executive Officer of the MSPE Institute and a Clinical and Sport Psychologist in Washington DC.

Dr Kaufman specializes in sport psychology, mental health and training for athletes, coaches and other performers. After co-developing MSPE with Carol Glass and Timothy Pineau, they established the MSPE Institute, where Dr Kaufman is CEO.

As well as co-authoring the influential sport psychology book, Mindful Sport Performance Enhancement: Mental Training for Athletes and Coaches, Dr Kaufman has written numerous articles and book chapters and taught a Sport Psychology course at The Catholic University of America for over a decade. He co-hosts the Mindful Sport Performance podcast and co-founded the DC Psyching Team for distance runners.
