Dr Connor M. Kerns is an Associate Professor and Director of the Anxiety Stress and Autism Program at the University of British Columbia. Her laboratory is funded by the Kennedy Krieger Institute, where she leads a team in conducting clinical and community-based research.

Dr Kerns received multiple commendations for excellence from the Department of Psychology during her postgraduate studies at Temple University. Since graduating, she has been a Visiting Fellow at Adelphi University and Co-Chair of the Autism Spectrum and Developmental Disorders Special Interest Group.

Dr Kerns is co-author of Anxiety in Children and Adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She has been the Principal Investigator on numerous research projects and recently led a study published in the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry. Her research has been featured in mainstream media, including Science Daily and The London Free Press.
