Motivational Interviewing in Health Care Course Review

Shines a different light on how one interacts with patients and shows how one's care can be more effective, efficient, and meaningful. Highlighted many problems that I experienced and why they might be occurring. One of the most disappointing parts of my work was not being able to help patients have better health habits despite all my efforts. I have been able to identify the pitfalls in my approach and appreciate this opportunity to learn new skills that are known to be helpful.
