A global authority on PTSD, Dr Patricia Resick developed Cognitive Processing Therapy. She is a professor in psychiatry and behavioral science at Duke Health and has published over 350 journal articles and book chapters. She is the author of no less than 10 books and her treatment manual for Cognitive Processing Therapy has been translated into 12 languages. Dr Resick is the former director of the National Center for PTSD’s Women’s Health Sciences Division and past president of the Association for Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies.
