Dr Dolores Gallagher-Thompson is a highly respected professor emeritus of psychiatry and behavioral science at Stanford University. Her areas of expertise include late-life depression and neurocognitive disorders. Dr Gallagher-Thompson has conducted remarkable research on psychoeducational interventions to help family caregivers of persons with dementia. She has published over 200 scholarly papers, co-authored several books and collaborated with the World Health Organization to deliver international education to caregivers.
