Dr Jeffrey Arnett is one of the world’s most prominent researchers in the study of emerging adulthood – the age period between the late teens and early 20s. He is also an authority on millennials and the millennial experience. Dr Arnett is Senior Research Scholar at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts. He is also Executive Director of the Society for the Study of Emerging Adulthood.

Dr Arnett is the author of the influential and acclaimed books Emerging Adulthood, Getting to 30 and Adolescence and Emerging Adulthood: A Cultural Approach, among others.

Other interests for Dr Arnett include the impact of media, the psychology of globalization and responses to cigarette advertising.

Dr Arnett's work has been featured by The New York Times, The Atlantic, CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post and many others. He has published his research in numerous academic journals and has been a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University, the University of Maryland and Tufts University.
