Dr Patricia J. Robinson is regarded as a master clinician and trainer in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), of which she was also instrumental in its creation and development. She has been a pioneer in Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (FACT), emphasizing primary care.

Dr Robinson's expertise is shared through academic articles, books as well as face-to-face and online training. She is the author of numerous academic papers and eight books with academic and self-help titles, translated into multiple languages.

Patricia trains and consults across the globe, most commonly in the United States, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Argentina and is a Founding Member of Mountainview Consulting Group, providing tailored assistance to health care organizations to integrate behavioral services, including training of medical and nursing staff.

For her work, Dr Robinson was bestowed the title of Fellow by the Association for Contextual Behavioral Sciences (ACBS), the worldwide learning and research community’s highest honor for those who uphold and model collegiality values, openness, generosity, self-critique, non-discrimination and mutual support.
