Dr Chelsey R. Wilks is a Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) trainer in high demand. She is also an Assistant Professor of Health and Data Science in the Department of Psychological Sciences at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She co-founded the Adaptive Research Lab and runs the Wilks Lab.

Dr Wilks received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Washington, where she was trained in DBT by Marsha Linehan.

Dr Wilks has served as a post-doctoral scholar and affiliate researcher at Harvard University, where she conducted research on the ethics, implementation, and pitfalls of using technology to treat individuals at risk for suicide. She trained in human-computer interaction at Microsoft Research and has conducted extensive research into the application of DBT.

Dr Wilks is widely published and regularly invited to speak at conferences and events both nationally and internationally.
