Professor W. Ray Crozier is an Honorary Professor in the School of Social Sciences at Cardiff University who has spent decades researching shyness, blushing, art and aesthetics.

Professor Crozier is a widely published author who has written, co-written and co-edited many books delving into the psychology of shyness and blushing. These include Understanding The Blush and Coping with Shyness and Social Phobias. His books have been translated into several languages, including Spanish and Chinese.

In 2010, Professor Crozier was awarded a Print Media Award in Social and Behavioral Sciences from the American Library Association for his book Blushing and the Social Emotions: The Self Unmasked.

Professor Crozier presents at conferences worldwide and co-organized the Psychology of the Arts Conference in Cardiff, Wales. He is an elected Fellow of the British Psychological Society and Chartered Psychologist.
