Professor Eric Youngstrom is a clinical child and adolescent psychologist specializing in the relationship between emotions and psychopathology. He is an expert in the assessment of bipolar disorder across the lifespan, with a focus on youth. Professor Youngstrom is a professor of psychology and psychiatry at the University of Carolina at Chapel Hill and acting director of the Center for Excellence in Research and Treatment of Bipolar Disorder. Alongside Dr Mian-Li Ong, he co-founded HGAPS - Helping Give Away Psychological Science.
