Dr Sarah Hunter Murray is known for her unrivaled expertise and innovative research in the field of sexuality and sexual desire. Her particular areas of knowledge are desire within long-term relationships and the nature of men’s sexual desire.

Dr Murray is a relationship therapist under the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT), working with individuals and couples experiencing intimacy issues. She has more than 10 years of academic research and professional experience behind her.

Dr Murray is the author of the popular book Not Always in the Mood: The New Science of Men, Sex, and Relationships. She has published articles in many peer-reviewed journals, such as Journal of Sex Research, Journal of Sex & Marital Therapy and Sex Roles.

Dr Murray's work has been featured by mainstream media outlets, including The Globe and Mail, Men’s Health, Cosmopolitan and Elle. She also writes a blog for Psychology Today titled Myths of Desire.
