Professor Louise Sharpe is a highly regarded and widely known clinical psychologist. Her fields of expertise and research are adjustment to illness, chronic pain, psycho-oncology and the cognitive processes involved in ill health. She is a Professor of Clinical Psychology at the University of Sydney.
Professor Sharpe has nearly thirty years of experience practicing and studying her field, and has more than 200 peer-reviewed publications to her name. She has received substantial national competitive funding, including a National Health and Medical Research Council Senior Research Fellowship.
Professor Sharpe has won several awards for her groundbreaking work over the years, including the Ian M. Campbell Memorial Prize and the Distinguished Career Award from the Australian Association of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
