Dr Dolores Malaspina is a leading psychiatrist with expertise in schizophrenia and psychosis. Based at Mount Sinai Hospital, Dr Malaspina is a professor at the Icahn School of Medicine and director of the Critical Connections program. For over three decades, she has made vital discoveries about schizophrenia and its developmental factors, including paternal aging and hippocampal activity at rest. Dr Malaspina has published over 450 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters and is a former editor of the International Journal of Mental Health.
