Dr Melissa Hunt is the associate director of clinical training at the University of Pennsylvania and a distinguished expert in the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders. Employing a cognitive-behavioral perspective in the fields of health psychology, emotion and clinical psychology, her research is directed toward stress management for GI conditions such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Crohn's and Ulcerative Colitis. Dr Hunt co-published the first study to establish a causal link between increased social media use and depression.
