Dr Reid Wilson is among the United States’ most well-respected experts on the treatment of anxiety disorders and OCD. He serves as Director of the Anxiety Disorders Treatment Center in Chapel Hill and Durham, North Carolina.

Dr Wilson is the author of several popular books on anxiety and related topics. These include Stopping the Noise in Your Head: The New Way to Overcome Anxiety and Worry and the classic self-help book, Don't Panic: Taking Control of Anxiety Attacks. He also oversees the free self-help website anxieties.com.

Dr Wilson is a Founding Clinical Fellow of the Anxiety and Depression Association of America. Among his other achievements is the design of American Airlines’ first national program for those afraid of flying, AAchieving Flight.

Dr Wilson has made a number of television appearances on programs such as The Oprah Winfrey Show, Good Morning America, Katie and others.
