Professor Robert F. Krueger is a leading Psychologist, Researcher, Educator, and Author specializing in personality psychology and how personality traits influence mental health. He is also an authority on psychopathology, behavioral genetics and aging, among other areas. Professor Krueger is a Distinguished McKnight University Professor, Hathaway Distinguished Professor, and the Director of Clinical Practicum and Internship Placements in the Department of Psychology at the University of Minnesota.

Professor Krueger’s research has been published in numerous prestigious scientific journals, such as World Psychiatry, JAMA Psychiatry, and PNAS. He is also the Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Personality Disorders and has edited several important books. He is a Fellow of the American Psychopathological Association (APPA), the Society for Personality Assessment (SPA) and the Association for Psychological Science (APS).

Professor Krueger has won several awards across his career, including the University of Minnesota's McKnight Land-Grant Professorship, the American Psychological Association's Award for Early Career Contributions, and the Award for Early Career Contributions from the International Society for the Study of Individual Differences.
