Dr Sara Williams is an expert in the assessment and treatment of chronic pain in children. She is a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and a Pediatric Pain Psychologist at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

Dr Williams specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help with treatment for pediatric chronic pain. A leading researcher in her field, she is also Clinical Director of the Functional Independence Restoration Program and a pain psychologist in the Headache Center and Pain Management Clinic at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

Dr Williams has written many peer-reviewed articles and co-wrote the authoritative book, Treating Somatic Symptoms in Children and Adolescents.
