Dr Stefan Hofmann is the director of the Psychotherapy and Emotion Research Laboratory and a psychology professor at Boston University. He is an expert in anxiety disorders, including treatment models such as Process-based Therapy and Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Dr Hofmann is the author and editor of several books, including Beyond the DSM: Toward a Process-Based Alternative for Diagnosis and Mental Health Treatment. He is the editor-in-chief of Cognitive Therapy and Research and past president of ABCT and IACBT.
