Professor Farooq Naeem is a leader in global mental health. He is a professor of psychiatry at the University of Toronto and a psychiatrist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. An expert in cultural adaptations of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Professor Naeem’s research helps enhance access to CBT globally. He created a CBT-based online therapy program, eGuru and has published widely on improving health systems and services worldwide. Professor Naeem established the Pakistan Association of Cognitive Therapists and holds CBT workshops around the world.
