Professor Paul Salkovskis is a highly experienced and internationally respected clinical psychologist, researcher, educator and author. Among his many areas of expertise is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for various anxiety disorders, particularly Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), panic, and agoraphobia.

Professor Salkovskis is Director of the Oxford Institute of Clinical Psychology Training and Research, Director of the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre, and Director of the Oxford Centre for Psychological Health.

He is the author of books such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for OCD and Break Free from OCD. Professor Salkovskis is Editor-in-Chief of the journal Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy and patron of several anxiety and OCD charities. He is also the current president of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies.

Professor Salkovskis has frequently contributed expert commentary for mainstream media outlets, including Sky News, The Guardian, the BBC, Wired and numerous others. He is regularly invited to present at conferences and events in both the UK and across the world.
