Dr Barbara Rothbaum is a highly esteemed researcher and clinical expert in anxiety disorders who played a major role in developing treatments for PTSD. A psychiatry professor and associate vice chair of clinical research at Emory University School of Medicine, Dr Rothbaum is director of the Emory Healthcare Veterans Program and the Trauma and Anxiety Recovery Program. She is widely published and holds advisory and committee roles for esteemed associations. She is past president of the International Society of Traumatic Stress Studies.
