Dr Jill A. Stoddard has a wide-reaching reputation as one of America's most knowledgeable and innovative experts on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). A Licensed Clinical Psychologist, she is also a popular Author, Speaker and Podcaster, and the Founder and Director of the Center for Stress and Anxiety Management, based in San Diego. In addition, she is Co-Founder and Vice-President of the San Diego Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Consortium.

Dr Stoddard's knowledge and expertise also extend to Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), anxiety, worry, stress, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), phobias, women's issues and other areas.

Dr Stoddard's books include the widely acclaimed The Big Book of ACT Metaphors: A Practitioner's Guide to Experiential Exercises & Metaphors in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy. She is the co-host of the podcast Psychologists Off the Clock and has given a TEDx talk.
