Dr Torrey Creed is a licensed clinical psychologist and Assistant Professor of Psychology in Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine. She founded the Penn Collaborative for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Implementation Science and is Director of the Penn Beck Community Initiative.

Dr Creed is also the Director of Clinical Implementation for Lyssn, partnering with mental health providers to use artificial intelligence to improve their quality of care. In addition, she is a health policy advisor to Partners in Health, supporting their mental health efforts in Low- and Middle-Income countries. She serves on the scientific advisory board of several mental healthcare organizations.

Dr Creed is an expert in child and adolescent mental health, and she specializes in training mental health providers to deliver CBT and other mental health practices in community practice settings. She has published more than 80 scientific articles, and her co-authored book Cognitive Therapy for Adolescents in School Settings has been translated into 4 languages.

Dr Creed works with mental health care clinicians, organizations, and healthcare systems in under-resourced communities and low- and middle-income countries to implement and improve access to evidence-based practices, particularly CBT.

The National Institute of Mental Health funds Dr Creed’s research. She mentors students and postdoctoral fellows and provides workshops for organizations around the world.
