Professor Ronald M. Rapee is a widely respected and highly accomplished psychologist, researcher and educator. He is an expert in anxiety, depression and related disorders across the lifespan, with a particular interest in anxiety in children and adolescents.

Professor Rapee developed the Cool Kids suite of programs designed to support the mental health of young people. The program has been translated into more than 25 languages and used in more than 30 countries.

Professor Rapee is a Distinguished Professor of Psychology at Macquarie University in Sydney, a former Australian Research Council Laureate Fellow, and the Founding Director of the Centre for Emotional Health. Professor Rapee is a co-author of the book Helping Your Anxious Child: A Step-by-Step Guide for Parents.

Professor Rapee sits on the editorial boards of several journals and the advisory boards of several professional committees. He is passionate about community engagement and regularly delivers talks, presentations and workshops in schools, community groups and other settings.
