Dr T. Leanne Campbell is Co-Director of the Vancouver Island Centre for Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Campbell & Fairweather Psychology Group. She is an ICEFT Certified EFT Therapist, Supervisor, and Trainer with internationally-acclaimed expertise in trauma, grief and loss.

In the early-mid 1990s, Dr Campbell was trained in EFT by Dr Sue Johnson. Since then, she has dedicated three decades and served hundreds of clients using the model. 

Dr Campbell is renowned for her warmth, enthusiasm and capacity to develop strong therapeutic alliances. These attributes assist clients to dive deep into emotional experiences and arise with newfound understanding.

Beyond private practice, Dr Campbell is an Honorary Research Associate of Vancouver Island University. She was a co-author of the first Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (IFIT) paper and currently coordinates an EFIT outcome trial. To help guide its implementation, she further co-published “A Primer for…EFIT: Cultivating Fitness and Growth in Every Client”.

Dr Campbell has offered psychological evaluations for military services, including Veterans Affairs Canada and The Canadian Forces Base. She has consulted broadly within the justice system, developing assessment reports across a host of scenarios.
