Dr Lori Brotto is one of the world’s leading experts on women's sexual health. She is director of The University of British Columbia's Sexual Health Research Laborator, a professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and executive director of the Women’s Health Research Institute. Dr Brotto’s research covers sexual difficulties, dysfunctions, discrepancies and distress. In her private practice, Dr Brotto incorporates mindfulness-based interventions and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with traditional sex therapy skills. She is also trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.
