Dr Jennifer Frankovich is an esteemed Pediatric Rheumatologist whose clinical expertise lies in how systemic inflammatory and autoimmune diseases can co-occur and relate to psychiatric symptoms. She is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Allergy, Immunology and Rheumatology, at Stanford University/Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital.
Dr Frankovich also directs the Stanford PANS Program, which generates clinical data to better understand Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome (PANS).
Dr Frankovich has received several significant awards across her career, including recently the Clinical Science Research Award from Stanford’s Department of Pediatrics.
She has published research in many leading peer-reviewed scientific journals, such as Pediatric Research, Journal of Psychiatric Research and Journal of Biomedical Informatics. Her work has also been covered by the news outlets Wired, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.
